An order has been given to complete the master plan by the final date of 31st august, and again it will be presented in September. Officials said, in the last few presentations, many shortcomings in the plan were noticed and highlighted.
The DNGIR will be developed as a satellite city, establishing over 20000 hectares by combining 80 villages.
Under this scheme, the 1/4 of land which is being pooled will be allotted to the owners. Approx 80% of the land will be used for industrial, which should be at least 450 sqm. All the landowners will get Rs. 5000 per acre every month as compensation for the coming five years or the time till the plot is developed.
Officials said a consultant to give a brief on how the DNGIR will connect with areas in greater Noida and those which are under the Yamuna expressway authority, along with the airport in Jewar, which is being developed.
During the meeting, some queries were raised related to setting up industrial units, residential buildings and the overall development model for that area.
According to the officials, this region will be developed in four different phases, which have an aim to operate an industrial city for 24 hours continuously. Only pollution-free units will be shifted here. The consultant has been asked to study developed cities like hong kong, London, and Tokyo Abu Dhabi to bring in more investors.
