Noida, recently the Greater Noida authority has given the offer of a window for two years to those cooperative housing societies mean for central government employees to get the completion certificate; for this, they will have to pay a fee of 8% of the total cost of their property annually.
In a recent meeting in Lucknow, the Greater Noida board has given approval for a time extension because it was already informed that the completion certificate couldn’t be issued to some societies which were constructed till 2016 in Greater Noida due to time passed out.
An official said Residence of These cooperative housing societies had been demanding time Extention from the Noida authority. It was approved after a proposal was received to allow time extension after taking a fee. Then they got a time extension of two years.
Similarly, the board of authority had also offered an extra six months extension to the builder's projects to obtain the completion certificate. Few projects of builders in the area have been delayed, and the late fees are being taken on those same. The official said the developers are trying to obtain the completion certificate to register the plots or property.
The industrial development department issued the instruction in July this year to increase the time by six months. Accordingly, the greater Noida authority’s board has decided to provide a free six months to get the societies' completion certificates.
Arvind Kumar (chairman) of Gautam Budh Nagar authorities and additional chief secretary presided over the 127th board meeting of Greater Noida authority. The CEO of Greater Noida authority (Surender Singh), the CEO of Yamuna authority (Arun vir), and the CEO of Noida authority (Ritu Maheshwari) were present during the meeting.
